NUL SCIENTISTS ARE DEVELOPING A HAND SANITIZER BASED ON LOCAL PLANTS TO FILL A DEMAND CREATED BY CORONAVIRUS

So the local shops have run out of hand sanitizers? Scientists at the National University of Lesotho (NUL) are listening.

Led by the Professor of Chemistry, Professor Mosotho George, NUL Scientists from the following Departments: Tsa Mahlale TV Show, Department of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and NUL Innovation Hub are holed up in laboratories to make a hand sanitizer based on abundant local plants and a variety of carefully selected chemicals.

The idea is to get the sanitizer produced by the NUL Innovation Hub and sold as soon as possible.

We will update the story as we get more information.
