The story of Mafikeng Logistics starts in the laboratories of the NUL.
Therein, former Chemical Technology students plotted a revolution! “These pioneers were intent on shaking what appeared to be a stagnant paving industry, where paving was done for the sake of paving.”
When Mafikeng Stones was finally introduced, the industry was indeed shaken. But it wasn’t easy to get to that point. Many people tend to think that once you have a product, you have made it! That is far from reality, in fact, when you have a product, you are just 20% there.
“Here is a secret we will share with anyone willing to listen,” Bohlokoa said. “Real innovation is not so much in coming up with a product. Anyone can do that. Innovation is in the process of taking those products to the market in mass!”
That is the hard part.
Understanding this reality, Mafikeng Stones was in a better position to plot its next moves. The company knew all too well that unless it kept changing, it would soon be caught dozing off by the competition, “we knew this from day one!”
“Thus we designed and manufactured a unique machine that will change the way we make the paving stones,” Bohlokoa revealed.
